Stretched between Ohio and now Florida, Ukebucket is a three-person band formed by wide-eyed and innocent musicians. We offer music that we think sounds good, and music that was probably made at 3 in the morning hopped up on energy drinks. A quiet sound, a different sound. We are Ukebucket. Bring on the rock. COMING SOON!!! Rikk, Amber, and Barry are meeting in Melbourne Beach, Florida for two weeks to record some old and new things. It's gonna be super sweet!

Learn to Play Fingerstyle Solos for `Ukulele
(from Mark's site) The book offers 27 arrangements from around the world written in
standard notation and tablature playable on any ‘ukulele. While the arrangements are in
standard reentrant tuning, many can be played on instruments with low G tuning and Baritones.
Songs are grouped according to level of difficulty, starting with simple arrangements well
within the grasp of dedicated beginners and intermediate players and leading through more
challenging songs featuring unusual chord voicings, inversions up the neck, tricky fingerings
and "all the fun stuff" the author could muster. To aid the student, the companion CD includes
all of the songs taught. Includes chord charts, inversion studies, introductory material on
finger-picking and making the transition from strumming to melodic playing.

( from artist's site ) - Julia Nunes, a YouTube ukulele phenomenon, is a freshman in college. She has been playing guitar and ukulele for four years, and writing original songs for nearly that long. Her first CD, “Left Right Wrong” from JuNu Music, was released in the summer of 2007, consisting of ten original songs, and includes two live performances. Beginning in January 2008, Julia’s unique sense of humor and canny lyric-writing ability, coupled with catchy, can’t-get-it-out-of-your-head melodies, began to be noticed on YouTube. Her videos, cleverly edited, have received more than 2 million views, with subscriptions to her channel in the five figures, and rising.
