The festival will be held on Friday 23rd and Saturday, September 24th, 2011 at the Center for Ecological Culture (Centro di Cultura Ecologica – Via Fermo Corni, snc, Rome). The festival activities (from the booths, workshops, screenings and performances) will take place in two time periods 5pm to 8pm and 9pm to midnight. The show will begin Friday in continuity with the Clean Up the World (Puliamo il Mondo) activities promoted by the Legambiente Possible Worlds that, with the support of volunteers and involving schools and residents of the statements in Aguzzano Park in the morning and will conclude with a meeting at the Center for Ecological Culture, which will launch for the press conference to launch YOUkulele – Rome Ukulele Festival 2011 (time to be announced). The activities will start from 5pm with the workshops and live performances of the winners of our competition and will continue until the evening with screenings, theatrical performances and finally the live music, the exciting evening that will alternate on stage successful Italian and international artists . The day will open on Saturday morning with the Market of Agricultural Biological and CCE and it will continue in the afternoon with workshops, exhibitions, theatrical performances, screenings up to the evening concerts by the lively participation of artists from the Italian and international ukulele music scene.

During the two days there will be a brewery and restaurant service which will provide an opportunity to taste organic and local products (from 5pm brewery – restaurant from 8pm) and you will have the chance to participate in our raffle to win one of many prizes offered from our sponsors. The extraction of the winning tickets will be in the final round.
