5, 6, 7 and 8 July 2012 - Cairns is situated in the north of Queensland, Australia. The tropical climate, makes it a great tourist destination, especially in July. July is in the middle of our winter and the dry season, and the days are generally warm with blue skies, and nights very cool. The locals consider this the best time of the year to be here!

Ukelyptus is a company with branches in Canberra and Sydney providing ukulele resources, woodwind, brass, workshops and ensemble leadership to enthusiasts of all levels in a welcoming, community environment. With extensive experience in business, education and performance, Ukelyptus makes the opportunity to play in a stage-band available to everyone through the magic of the ukulele. We even assign Strum Chums from Ukelyptus to guide beginners through their first few sessions.
