Ukulele Festivals around the USA

These festivals are annual, semi-annual or first time events. Be sure to check their web site for the current dates.

Festival Listings

Note: Be sure to check a festival's web site for latest information and dates, as not all festivals are annual or keep their site's updated until the last minute. The Festival by Month page has the festivals listed that are scheduled for the current year – or at least my attempt to list current festivals.

I totally rely on people associated with the festival for their dates and listing information. I do check the festival site periodically for additional information.

For more recent festival listings I've not included the dates as these are moving targets and too hard to keep up with - be sure to check the festival's web page for the most accurate and current dates.

from the Reno Uke Fest web site

PlayUke.net and Play Uke, LLC were founded by two ex-guitar players who fell for the ukulele. Douglas Reynolds started the ball rolling in 2006 after discovering the music of Jake Shimabukuro during his weekly, “have coffee and read their magazines” morning at Borders Books (RIP). He bought a few ukes on eBay to get acquainted and fell for the little critters rather quickly.

2015 Reno Uke Festival Apr 30-May 3

Be sure to checkout Doug’s PlayUke.net site , as he and his crew produce seven ukulele festivals throughout the year.
