(from artist's site ) Nate Najar is one of only few guitarists who play jazz on the classical guitar. Many guitar players emulate horn players with blistering single note runs, but Nate prefers the more orchestral approach afforded by the classical guitar. Contrapuntal lines, lush harmony, and a full swinging sound have come to be associated with his guitar work. Swinging jazz sounds, blues, and Brazilian styles are all at home under Nate's hands. Rick Anderson of the All Music Guide says it best:

Focusing on Guitar History and Literature at the University of Florida, Dr. Newcomb performed and taught extensively in Florida. Currently, Larry performs classic and original jazz in solo, duo, trio, and quartet configurations in the greater metropolitan New York City area and Eastern United States.

Robin Nolan, while being considered one of the world's leading Gypsy Jazz guitarists in the tradition of Django Reinhardt, has also set himself apart by creating his own unique style.

From his base in Amsterdam, he has circled the globe with performances at the Lincoln Center, the Montreal Jazz Festival, the Toronto Jazz Festival, DjangoFest and numerous others. A friend of George Harrison's he has played at Friar Park many times, being George's favorite guitarist.
