With Ibanez no longer producing their 7 string archtop, Eastman Strings with their Uptown AR810-7 7 string archtop model might be a alternative. This guitar is in their line of Uptown Professional Archtops. I played this 7 string model at the Fall 2003 Philly Guitar show and was not impressed. I was however told that they where prototypes and more work is being done. They also have a line of Uptown Luxury Archtops. Price (from site) under $3000 for the Uptown Professional Archtops and $3,695 for the Uptown Luxury Archtop.
